A La Carte IT Services
I offer a range of IT services – over the phone, on-site, and remote. If you don’t see what you need listed below, just contact me, and we’ll work something out. In addition, I offer my IT services as subscriptions which include updates and patch management; security monitoring and configuration; and mobile device management. The subscriptions are good options for small businesses to save money on A La Carte services and utilize more security monitoring and software management.
IT Q & A - Pre-consulting
$15/Call - up to 2 hrs
- Give me a call, and I’ll do my best to answer your IT related questions or point you in the right direction. If you still need my help, we can discuss which IT services would be best for your situation.
- $15 per call related to a single subject or question for up to 2 hours. If more discussion is warranted, we can discuss additional services and/or IT Consulting rates.
Virus removal, Security check, Backups
$30/Session - up to 2 hrs
- Identify and remove specific virus infection/s.
- Scan for any related issues.
- Assess your security preparedness and suggest changes/provide education to prevent future issues.
- General security check-over with any necessary re-configurations and/or additional advice.
- Help establish periodic automatic system or data backups, including testing backups.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $20 for each additional hour.
Printer Install or Troubleshooting
$35/session - up to 2 hrs
- New or any printer setup and connect it to your devices.
- Assess why your printer won’t print to determine if it’s the printer’s or your device’s fault.
- If parts need ordering, I’ll make sure you know what to get and help you speak with the vendor.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $10 for each additional hour.
Computer or Mobile Device Setup
$50/per device up to 2 hrs
- Setup a brand new or “hand-me-down” computer/device and optimize its performance.
- Transfer your old files, apps, and as many as your fine-tuned settings that we can.
- Help you on calls with the vendor if necessary.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $25 for each additional hour.
Computer or Mobile Device Troubleshooting
$35/per device
- Device optimization or storage.
- Figure out why device or apps are crashing.
- Track down other issues and fix them; help you on calls with the vendor if necessary; or just wipe it clean of any personal data and recycle.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $15 for each additional hour.
Software Install or Troubleshooting (Computer or Mobile Device)
$25/per device up to 2 hrs
- Install and configure new software.
- Troubleshoot any issues.
- If issues require vendor support, I will be with you through the that process to reach a solution.
- $5 for additional software package.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $15 for each additional hour.
Other IT Hardware Install or Troubleshooting
$40/per device for up to 2 hrs
- Setup or help with things like Smart Speakers, computer hubs, external hard drives, and USB/Bluetooth related devices.
- Get them safely on your network or attached to other personal devices.
- $10 per additional device.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $15 for each additional hour.
Home Network Setup
$50/per visit up to 2 hrs
- Includes setup of Internet Service provided equipment, such as those from Xfinity, AT&T, or other providers.
- Help get other home devices connected to the network.
- Configure network security (changing the default credentials); placement of equipment; and any network troubleshooting.
- If issues require vendor support, I will be with you through the that process to reach a solution.
- Price is for the first two hours, and then $20 for each additional hour.
- *For more complex, larger networks like those for bigger businesses which may require router, firewall, switches, and access point configuration, $65 per hour up to 2 hours and then $30 for each additional hour.
